Power Integrations LinkSwitch™ Series
The Power Integrations LinkSwitch™ family of ICs are off-line switcher ICs designed for low-power, non-isolated applications. These devices integrate a high-voltage power MOSFET, oscillator, high-voltage switching current source, sense, and start-up functions in a monolithic device. The LinkSwitch series provides constant current regulation with excellent accuracy and minimal component count.
LinkSwitch devices utilize a unique variable frequency, continuous conduction mode (CCM) control that provides excellent line and load regulation while maintaining tight control of component stress under line and load transients. They are ideal for applications requiring a constant current output, such as LED drivers, battery chargers, and power supplies for industrial applications.
